Usage
Linden tree is light weight and soft to work with and is often used for model building and tree sculptures. The linden tree is a preferred material for musical instruments due to its acoustic quality.

The linden bast is extracted from the inner bark of the tree and is harvested in spring when the tree is juicy.'The process is long and the bark will have to soak in water for 10 weeks and then dry. Linden bast is strong and was used for rope, cord and fishing net by the Vikings.
